Single Review: Told You So - Paramore

Ooh Paramore... I love this band, despite all the members they've been through! In all honestly, I'm follow the music more than the band themselves. Anyway, I had heard some criticism of Paramore these last couple of weeks, especially about their sound. But I really like it! Of course I love the old school Paramore but this new sound is great!

So 'Told You So' is the second song released from the upcoming album, 'After Laughter'. I liked that it had no intro to it, Hayley just jumped straight in with those vocals! And speaking of vocals, I love Hayley Williams voice to pieces. It is one of those voices that is the same, if not better live! And thankfully, I have had the pleasure of seeing them live.

I found the music quite fast paced, without it being too fast, if you get what I mean? It is really funky and I love the whole vibe they have going on. The lyrics were great and were quite repetitive but it worked so well and wasn't annoying.

I think this song would sound amazing live and great in the car, which I will be testing this week! I really like this direction they are going in, it's so different, and so far the songs have been really catchy. Fingers crossed for the album, literally can't wait. 12th MAY guys!
