It is now official... all members of One Direction have released their own solo music. I was quite surprised at how long it has taken for Liam to release something, I know he has had personal events to deal with but still, he was the one I thought would be straight on his own music (after Harry).
Anyway, on to the song. I was quite surprised at the type of music Liam has come out with, it just wasn't what I expected. However, I really like it, and it suits his voice. It has a really nice beat, and is quite a mellow song, surprisingly. His vocals are really strong on this track, and I love the range of his vocals, especially on the backing vocals. It is such a catchy song, and the lyrics seem quite realistic, in terms of his life. I did think the line "You know, I used to be in 1D (now I'm out, free)" is a bit risky, and I'm not sure it is going to go down too well with some people, but hey sometimes you need to be a bit carefree!
The last thing is that throughout the song I thought to myself that if I didn't know it was Liam, I would not of guessed it was him! Overall, I am loving the song, and am intrigued on what else he's gonna bring to the table!
