MY is an incredible artist/band from Stockholm, Sweden. Now there is not much information around about them, and they were very difficult to track down. Funny story.. I found out about MY way over a year ago through a survey for Sony Music. I heard their song called 'Pretty Little Liar', and was instantly hooked. Her voice reminded me of Katy Perry. I remember instantly searching the internet for them but it was so difficult.. searching 'MY Pretty Little Liar' only brought up results about the TV show Pretty Little Liars! Anyway, fast forward a year and I randomly thought I would search for them again, and just my luck.. I found them! Honestly, I was ecstatic. Lucky that when I found them, they had a couple of small free shows coming up, so my friend and I got tickets straight away! We then realised they were supporting McFly on their current tour!

When we got there (a little bit late.. oops!) the support band, Scholars, were already on. They are quite rocky, and definitely filled the room with their set. They really made use of the space and kept a great stage charisma. From what I heard, I enjoyed their set.

Now for MY. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the show and I felt bad as I only knew the 3 main songs, 'Pretty Little Liar', 'White Water', and 'Invincible'. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Her voice is as incredible as it is on the recordings. She sung a lot of new songs, which is great as it shows what sort of style they will be releasing in the future. I'm really excited for whatever they bring in the, hopefully near, future. This is definitely a band I will be looking out for in 2017.

For those who are interested, you can find their Facebook & Twitter pages at @OHHEYMY. Here is a link for 'White Water':
