Busted are a pop-rock band from Southend-on-Sea, consisting of members, James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson. They formed in 2000 and released two studio albums, 'Busted', which was released in 2002, and 'A Present For Everyone', which was released in 2003. They further released a compilation album and a live album. They have won two Brit Awards and won 'The Record of the Year' with their single 'Thunderbirds' in 2004, amongst other awards. They broke up in January 2005, following Charlie's decision to pursue a career fronting a post-hardcore band 'Fightstar'. The other two went on to pursue a solo career amongst other projects.

In 2013, Matt and James formed a 'supergroup' with McFly, 'McBusted'. They went on a 34-date sold-out nationwide tour and made a debut overseas filling in for 5 Seconds Of Summer on One Directions 'Where We Are Tour', in Denmark & France. In 2015, there was speculation that Busted had reunited after a picture made its way around the internet. At the end of 2015, Busted announced a 13-date arena tour in the UK and Ireland, and a third studio album.

Following on from this, the third studio album, 'Night Driver', was released last year on the 25th of November. Supporting the album, came the 'Night Driver' tour. The UK leg started at the end of January.

A last minute decision to get tickets turned out to be one of the best nights of my life. By last minute I mean I picked the tickets up on the afternoon of 3rd February, the day of the London gig!

The support band, 'Natives' had followed me a few days prior, so I was able to check out their music. I really liked their newest single, 'Warpaint'. Their charisma on stage was great, they really got the crowd pumped and ready for Busted. They also have a unique sound, yet the vocals could be compared to Years & Years.

When Busted came on, wow, the crowd went absolutely crazy. As I was looking around, I realised the whole of the standing area was full. There was literally no space. I don't know what the seating was like, as I couldn't see, but my guess is that it was the same. They opened with 'Kids With Computers', a proper dancy tune to get the crowd going. I'm not going to describe every song.. but I will leave the setlist below. I knew they were doing some old songs, but didn't realise how many! Also, they added 'What I Go To School For' to the encore (all time fav!). When they played 'Year 3000' the whole place was crazy! I love moments like that, it really shows how many people truly love the artist and, especially after all these years, those that continue to support them. I was quite surprised they didn't do 'Easy' or 'One Of A Kind' but they did do both of those songs on the last tour at the London date I went to.

Set List:

- Kids With Computers

- Thinking Of You

- On What Your On

- Air Hostess

- Night Driver

- Nerdy

- Without It

- I Will Break Your Heart

- Who's David

- Sleeping With The Light On

- Crashed The Wedding

- 3AM

- New York

- Year 3000

-----------------------------------------

- What I Go To School For

- Coming Home

- Those Days Are Gone

I was so glad they finished with 'Those Days Are Gone' because it's such a tune! In my eyes it's quite heartfelt but when the faster paced music kicks in it perks up! As Matt said 'LET'S FUCKING DANCE'. It was such an enjoyable night and I do urge people who don't have tickets to get them! I'm even considering going to the Brighton date!!
